Embarking on a major project like painting your home requires assurance that there’s a reliable safety measure available. At Lewis & Lewis Painting Inc, our commitment and precision are evident in our long-lasting and high-caliber paint applications. However, if you face any issues with our services, simply reach out to us for necessary fixes.

Subject to the restrictions outlined below, for a duration of 6 months from the date on the front of your agreement, Lewis & Lewis Painting Inc will remedy cracking, peeling, or chipping paint stemming from flawed workmanship. 

• Keep a copy of the original agreement.
• Provide proof that all payments have been completed in full upon project completion.
• Contact Lewis & Lewis Painting Inc via phone at (386) 316-5009, so we can schedule an assessment of your property, clarify the nature and extent of the covered repairs, and plan for the necessary work to be carried out.
• Ensure the property is accessible for our team to perform repairs.

• Carry out all of the covered repairs at no cost to you.
• Conduct any covered repairs related to surface preparation as mentioned in the original agreement.
• Undertake any covered repairs in specific areas where cracking, peeling, and/or chipping has arisen. An exact color match cannot be guaranteed, as environmental factors will influence the hues of all paints over time.

• Any work for which Lewis & Lewis Painting Inc did not supply the paint materials.
• Any work not executed by Lewis & Lewis Painting Inc, or where a non-employee of Lewis & Lewis Painting Inc has attempted surface preparation.
• Identifying or eliminating water intrusion.
• Any paint peeling attributed to moisture intrusion. Properly applied paint will peel, generally down to bare wood, in areas where the substrate is subjected to significant moisture exposure.
• Any bubbling of paint.
• Any horizontal surface or surface resulting from a structural design that allows moisture to accumulate. This includes, but is not limited to, decks, railings, stairs, and porches.
• Varnished or naturally finished wood surfaces.
• We are not liable for an exact match of existing colors or textures. Nor can we assure that the finish paint samples you selected will precisely align with the final coating.
• Conditions caused by a defect in the paint itself, including but not limited to fading, chalking, flashing, and lapping. We suggest lighter colors, as they reflect sunlight better and generally prolong the durability of a paint film.
• The emergence of mildew, mold, or any other environmental factors.
• The emergence of cracks due to seismic activity or ground movement.

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS THE SOLE EXPRESS WARRANTY MADE BY LEWIS & LEWIS PAINTING INC AND REPLACES ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. THIS WARRANTY ONLY COVERS SERVICES RENDERED BY LEWIS & LEWIS PAINTING INC TO THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER NAMED ON THE FRONT OF THE JOB AGREEMENT.
